I’m a guy that makes stuff. I find joy in living with purpose and creativity, directing animated projects for myself. Now freelance, and previously with Buck.co

Event organiser BIG MIX is an independently organised animation festival in Sydney, bringing the community together to celebrate the work of local artists and filmmakers.

For two years, BIG MIX has been hosted at the Palace Chauvel cinema in the City of Sydney. Both years have been sold out successes.

I enlisted the help of Paul Rhodes, Derek Lau and Wilton Lander to pull together 12 amazing animators who had short films or were working on them, encouraging them to show their work on the big screen among friends new and old.

The lineup consisted of: @sonnyelim, @felixcolgrave, @oook_bai, @faux_par, @lstrchn, @georgettestef, @sander.hag, @dereklaudesign, @trugglet, @kathy.sarpi, @hogrim37, @jakemakesthings, @wilton.anim and @ladybugbells.

The second year consisted of: @cinnavee, @spiderhammock, @jeremycarlen.jpg, @yeevz_, @jarrodprince, @emptypixl, @niceguytye, @not_brandont, @thommycrowe, @faux_par, @andrewonorato and @lstrchn

My role was primarily strategy, budget, liasing with the venue, and seeking sponsorship.
