2019
Personal film and zine comic Personal short film completed in 2019, based on a couple of experiences I had while growing up in the suburbs in Tuggeranong, Australia.

My goal with this film was to make a vague narrative in the realm of visual poetry, as a way of moving on and addressing my weird obsession with suburban Australiana and my hometown.

I was obsessed with trying to translate the feeling of nostalgia and dread I was experiencing thinking about home, while combining these messy and expressionist character studies and landscapes I’d been doing in my sketchbook into 3D to see if I could make it all into something.

It got a Vimeo Staff Pick and was featured on Behance shortly after coming online, much to my surprise. while
Strangely the more I look at it, the cruder and stranger it looks, and the more I love it.
